HI everyone,

I'm gonna tell you about what happened during fairfield's sec 1 orientation...

DAY 1
First day of school...after assembly we ( sec 1's) all went to the hall. At the hall we had a short talk on the expectations of us sec 1's. After that, we went to the indoor sports hall bottom floor and played quite a few ice breakers that were extremely fun. During the ice breakers we were properly introduced to our SL's ( student leaders). They all seemed extremely nice people and were also very enthusiastic about almost everything.

After ice breakers we had recess.following that was like a few talks that were quite long and boring (no offence to the people who talked...). After talks we went to meet our form teacher(btw im in 1E'09) She's seemed quite nice and seems quite young like 28 to 31?? Had lunch after that then had another talk!!! was about National Education and Service Learning. A bit better this time laughed quite a lot. We had even more ice breakers after that and then we had debrief... During debrief the head of IT came and told my class had to buy tablet pc and it is like super ex 2500+++?? Thats sort of the end of day one now on to day two...............

DAY 2
Started with some ice breakers and then went to hall to learn SCHOOL SONG HYMN AND CHEER. I was like gosh school song and school hymn primary 1 learn already now learn again...
After that it was games to win flag making materials...
It was a bit dirty and wet games. I'll only talk about the game i felt was the most fun. It was like this big styrofoam box with like millions of holes in it and the some of use were supposed to put our fingers in the holes while a few other people got water and tried to fill the styrofoam box without it leaking. The team with the most water wins. And we won yay cheers bla bla...
after that went for lunch then we went to the hall to bid for flag making materials. My class had the most points so we could obviously bid for stuff with more ease. yeah that was the system we used the points we got from the games as money to bid for materials. My class got glitter and paper clips lol
after that we went to the bridge to design our flag and create a class cheer. Our flag was very nice and our cheer was quite original i think... following that was learning of the installation song. and then had debrief again.

and again thats the end of day two on to day three

DAY THREE
More ice breakers lol...and then it was practising for class cheer wooh!!! had recess and had team building games after which. Went to the hall upon finishing games and learnt mass dance the song was soulja boy lol... We had more practice for class cheer and then we had the competition. The teachers said the results would be on friday. Had debrief again and then everyone was getting more and more emo as this was like almost the official last day with our SL's and orientation.

The next two days were lessons and cca tryouts

Friday 9th January 2009
It was lessons and after school was Uniformed Groups showcase.
The big night!!!
we had dinner while the SL's were doing sharings and reflections for orientation it was very emotional and sad as our SL's said a lot of encouraging things... at like 8pm all the sec 1's assembled in the hall with the parents as well. There were a few performances like the choir and band and then they gave out awards the important awards were the class cheer award and best class award. The class cheer award was given to 1g and 1h. But 1E got the best class award wooh yay!!! We were over the moon.
We sang the installation song and the school gave the new school badge to every sec 1. We said goodbye and that was the end of orientation...

Thats all for now that was long i think dont mind my amazing number of times I used the word after...
