Hi everyone!
I am blogging about this outing for the sake of those who did'nt go and(or)could'nt make it on the 27/12/08.
Well, first the group of us girls, Christabel, Phoebe, Angela, Jasmine and me went to west coast park at abt 12++..Aria and Nicholas was already there. And so be'cos of some changes that I made to myself(read my previous post or was it the one before?)I was so embarrased and kept covering my face with a paper bag.But I sill had to take it off in the end..no big deal lah..waited a while more for some others. i will spare yi jie the embarrassment. (can go read yi jie's blog or chris' one for details.) then after about 20 ppl came. no teachers came/went by the way, sadly? lol.
we all ate lunch at macdonalds and then went to play(btw, the pyramid is open!!)of course,I missed out a lot about the teasing that was going on while everyone arrived..(you all can add on anything if you want to..or you can also tag it)
Then we went to play..we had such a great time lah..some ppl rollerbladed, some cycled, some climbed pyramids, (everyone climbed at least 1-2 times), some played sand (built pyramids), some(you know who)threw sand at others,some played flying fox..aiya,we played so much I am unable to list them all out here.Just that we did lots of fun stuff..
Then we went to Blue horizon to have the BBQ thing. There were chicken wings, sausages, satay, fried rice, wan ton. The food was nice,worth the $5(I hope). just in case you don't understand what i mean, we had to pay $5. Then some of the boys went swimming,like Ding Ning, Avril, Nicholas, Rui Yang, Wei Jin and Shawn. And can you believe it? Nicholas said (from his view in the pool..it was dark) that I looked like Gertie's brother..hello?he must be blind..in what way is the resemlence?So I said I thought he was Ding Ning..was it too harsh(I don't really care)
Then we played Badminton at a wide area on the 4th storey, got scolded by security guard because of being too noisy (nicholas shouted exactly when the security guard came!!) but it wasn't his fault, there WERE residents staying around, i would have complained too if i were them. and then we played some moore at the playground before going back home. best west coast outing ever. one word. F-U-N.
Well, hope that 6A'08 can keep in touch and have more gatherings because it really was so much fun!(Although I got sooo many mosquito bites..)

Dear all,

Some of you are concerned that this blog is getting more passive. Don't worry too much about it. I personally feel that by knowing that this blog exists is great as it provides us with a platform to keep in touch with each other many years to come. You'll probably get busier in the months and years ahead. If you have no time to type in a few words as frequently as you wish, at least, you know that it is always here for you and your friends to catch up with each other. Thank you Christabel for making great efforts in setting up this blog and including music and all.

Christabel asked which sec sch the boys are posted to but did not seem to get much reply. Allow me to furnish you with more information of those MIA based on my first viewing online (hope the boys do not mind). It may not be the most updated as I understand that there are 2 classmates who may have appealed for another sch but I've not heard from them since. Benedict, Ding Ning, Axel, Nicholas and Harren should be heading for ACS(I). Frederick, Jakin and Rui Yang to Nan Hua High, Kai Chin and Wei Chin to RI, Hanzhe to Dunman High and Chee Peng to Hwa Chong Institution.

I asked for help on how to upload pictures but nobody responded. sob. Could only then placed photos I have of you below. Enjoy them- they're better late than never ;)

I am unable to make it on 27th Dec, so please keep me update of any latest development via email or blog. It'll be great if photos could be included too. Enjoy yourselves on that day.

Hi everybody!Decided to "drop by" our class blog.Boy...it is pretty...unalive(??)..oh forget it.. it's almost dead.Like there are not many ppl posting(esp. boys..)well, I decided to bring some life to this blog by telling you guys what happ. @ my orientation.(why does this sound so pathetic?)
ermm..yeah. When I first stepped into RGS, I was like:wow..so many ppl(of course)and also although Raffles is a great sch,the compound is'nt really wonderful..it's quite dark..compared to NYGS, which when my Dad drove past, I was like:wow!so beautiful.Well, when I stepped in, I saw Aria and Michelle.We did'nt talk much.The student leaders then took our attendance and gave us a whole list of forms..although I don't know what SBT stands for and what it is(saw it from Chris' blog..is it sth special?).In the hall, we were given a long boring talk that I did'nt really understand..and you could'nt imagine the no. of RGPS students there was..abt half!The many many teachers there talked about auditioning to get into CCAs and much more..which for me meant that I stand NO chance for getting into most of the CCAs..lol..so same as Chris,I'm also considering girl guides.I heard fr my cousin who is in it that it is very fun and educational.so..yeah,it is on my list(srry to Amanda when I said that I would not be joining GG @ first.I decided to consider it after some thought..hehe..)
Then we were brought to classrooms and we received a RGS goody bag(as so I refer it to)and there were some RGS socks..lol,a tie a folder and some other stuff.(Amanda was in the same group as me 'cos of the alphabetical order thingy in our names..)Then we(my mom, me and Amanda) went to the fitting rooms to see the uniforms.I did'nt need to try anything,just took all XS except for the P.E. t-shirt which I took an S 'cos the shirt was really short!In the end, did'nt buy the uniform there as the queue was too long..Amanda too..
That is about all,excluding the fact that we were informed that we needed to stay back every sat for hse pract!wow..I miss pri. sch..sec sch seems a little scary,don't you think?

PS.I heard from my uncle that RGS is going to shift to Bishan so that they can get closer to R.I.?That does'nt make sense does it?I thought RGS did'nt want to merge with the other two schools so why do they still..?maybe it's for more interaction but it's still weird(and pretty inconvenient too:(..)But maybe I will already be in JC by then.It will still be the same then..:D

Hi everyone!! I should think that all of you have gotten your posting results.Me too!!Did many of you worry about getting into the school of your choice?Then,hope you got into the school that you wanted!!
So yeah..I got into Raffles.A little bit scared because my mum knows many ppl whose daughters are in RGS and they all said that the teachers don't teach much and when they ask you to do HW, sometimes they don't collect and you have to go find the right answer on your own.So it involves alot of independence and self-discipline..which is quite tough..Also,some of those parents who have children in RGS told my mother not to be surprised if I fail alot of my subjects in my first few years.Plus(wow,alot huh?) they have alot of projects to do..and the projects are not grp work..they are done on your own..and they are very time consuming.Since CCA is a must in sec. school, you have to manage your time very well in order to be able to cope.
Anyway, now everybody does'nt have to worry so much already!!Looking forward to the BBQ outing.

hi , first time blogging in our class blog. Are all of u looking forward to the bbq outing? i really am....but i think that we should hav a few more outings b4 that(suggested by chris) .shouldnt we? i think shopping would be great!i think that we should go to vivo city and watch bolt....since it was commented the best comedy of the year and miley cyrus' voice is inside..(MILEY RAWKX!) Hope all of u do agree wth me!I am really sooooooo bored....I miss the lessons and scoldins....and all my frens...Hope to see all of u soon!

Hi 6A!I If you have read the title of this post, you would noe tt this post has got to do with some coincidents that I have gone through(??) during this holidays.
1.I met Benedict and his parents at Ulu Pandan CC when I went to attend my youngest sister's graduation concert.(I wrote about this in my previous post)
2.I met(saw)Mdm Cheah, her husband and 2 kids at IKEA!!Of course, my 1st reaction was to run away.Luckily (?),my mum did'nt see Mdm Cheah.So I "escaped".I did'nt plan to tell my mother about it until I was a little further.When I finally did, this was our conversation:
Me:Mummy,I saw Mdm Cheah, her husband and two kids just now.
My mum:Really?Where?
Me:At one of the display rooms.I did'nt tell you 'cos I knew that you would definitely talk to her...haha
My mum:Aiya!Do you know that ppl meet when they are fated to do so(sth like that..not exactly sure)
Me:hahaha..
3.Last but not least, I met Cai lao shi at clementi after I followed my mum out 'cos my sister had to go for Yamaha class.I guess she was also bringing her daughter for lesson.
Indeed, how coincidental!

hey! i was just thinking about class outings. other than the bbq one, are we having any others? its really a long time before the 27th. okay, even if we don't have one in this holidays. i really hope that we'll have one maybe in 2009's june? hopefully. i was just reading 6A 2007's class blog, they just had a class chalet! gosh, i'm super jealous that they still keep in touch (hopefully we'll too) haha. kays, so yeah, i really hope that we'll have more class outings! i know that almost everyone is having a boring holiday. so if you have interesting stories (trips or just about a fun day.) to tell us please, PLEASE post. i'm bored to death. literally.

i hope you all are having a fun time this holidays. i just realised that i'm/we're super bored this holidays because our "holidays" had started way before november 14th. oh gosh, this post was seriously wasted. just one question.
Are most of you more excited or scared to enter Sec 1?

Sorry everyone, i forgotten to add in my name in that "Raffles Institution" thingie blog.

Oh ya, i have been attending R.I.'s training lately ( 4 times a week! ) Ohhh... my muscles are aching everyday. But the rafflesians in the 'track & field' team are very friendly ( 2 days and i've known everyone ). Some trainings are so tough you run 2km just for warm-ups! Every Sat, we train at McRitchie reservoir ( long runs [ as long as 8km]). We meet a few schools training there
but i don't see any of you ( guess either you all don't like running or that you are not in the schools training there )

hope i meet 1 or 2 of you in competitions... haha

Hi everyone!! How have all of your holidays been? Many of you are having boring, meaningless holidays where you do nothing but coop yourself up at home right? Me too..actually school is better than this..even if Mdm Cheah,Cai lao shi and Mrs Yan pile us up with HW..xp
During this holiday,I have been doing nothing but playing computer games, reading and watching TV. Of course I admit my holidays were'nt exactly that boring. I had my Pri. 5 cousin over at my hse for 2 days.We played games and went cycling. She is a very fun girl so having her over made my boring holidays(back then)much livlier. And she also found out about the speed typing test link at Christabel's blog and was very interested..so she did it almost everyday and from my latest news, she can do 63 words per min!wow!I can only do 29 words per min..x)..
After that nothing interesting happened.Nothing until yesterday when I went with my family(excluding my dad) and my three cousins,Joseph,Faith(Pri.1 fairsians)and their baby sister Sarah,with their family(including their dad..lol)to the zoo.We went to the kids world where they have a new water world.It's quite fun.they have a big bucket at the top where water comes out when the bell rings...like at wild wild wet.
And, there is a flying fox,those kind of exercise playgrounds and a mini water place where you go onto a boat(just some wood and nails)and move to the other side by pulling onto a rope that is connected to both ends of the area.Had a great time!
That's the end of my interesting holiday.

PS.Just some silly things that happened to me this few months: My specs broke on Sunday so I did'nt wear my specs for a whole day yesterday(superglued it back..the specs shop Auntie said it can't be fixed so you will see me wearing new specs on our BBQ session-in case you don't know..which I think most of you don't, I tied my hair..Ps don't laugh when you see me..),also I met Benedict(so he knows about the above sit.)..although it is more of unfortunate.My mum talked to his mum and dad and I got really embarrased. My mum kept saying stuff like"your boy is the shortest boy..Lycia is the shortest girl"things like that..awww..
And also, heard that almost everyone knows about the trip that was organised to watch "beverly hills chihuahua" and those who were not invited are very angry.It is of course very natural for all of you to feel angry and I am terribly sorry.Cause the organiser thought that it would be hard to cope with many ppl so not many ppl were invited..I also did'nt want to tell you all(espescially my good friends)cos' I thought that you all would be angry. Looks like it is worse now..ooops.Sorry again..really did'nt mean for this to happen.Sorry. Hope you can forgive and forget...
