Hi!Hav'nt been posting lately because I come home from sch only at 3++ and I will be very tired after that and I will sleep.Yup...sleeping is another of my hobby!!xDI will sleep till dinnertime..(long time huh?)zzzZZZ..OK!Enough of snoozing.Yeah,so that's basically why I don't post so often.

Orientation week is over!It is so sad...orientation was sooo fun!esp. camp,except for some parts..like when we were playing station games,we were told we needed to pick someone as gladiator.Everyone in the class had to "protect" the gladiator so as not to let her get taken pictures of by some other ppl.And just because I was small(actually,smallest.),...I was picked!I was suffocated lah!!This girl(srry to say but quite fat)squashed me at the railing..压-ing me down on the railing when sme with the camera came..argh!!new New Year's Resolution-not be the shortest in class by year-end!!(not so hard cos also got another quite short girl in my class..)But other than that,evrything else was quite fun..:D Like we were introduced to our PSLs!!(peer support leaders)They are very enthu. and fun!Btw,I had many talks(if you plus all the hours together..almost two days!!not exaggerating)And camp night was fun!!super fun!Our PSLs and Prefects performed for us.Our sec 4 Prefect,Trisha Ng, danced a song"son dambe" for us.She was disgusting..x(She already had two vids.of her dancing on youtube!!lol..And oh yeah,I'm in class 106.not the most enthusiastic class but still enthusiastic(everyone in RGS are trained to be hyper..and we've got tons of cheers..everyone says them very enthusiastically)and a great great class!Also,I'm in tarbet,red hse!!Our hse is cool..some of my seniors are in it.Our mascot is the bull and our theme for the year is Tarbet Timetravellers.Why such a weird name you may ask?The houses are named after principals.Tarbet is the oldest of them all..they are:
1)!!!Tarbet-red(mascot,bull!)
2)Hadley-purple(mascot,...can't remember..lol)
3)Waddle-yellow(mascot,duck)
4)Buckle-green(mascot,elf)
5)Richardson(mascot,genie)

Just started lessons on Monday but I felt sick,vomitted and had diarrhoea in sch,so I went home and to see a doctor.Just some food poisoning..again..like 5,6 time I got it already.I felt much better on Tues and went to sch.We had to buy alot of files and things and bring stuff,wrap stuff..so yeah,rather busy.But I made alot of friends.Also,our CCA selection just started!(sooo late)so I went for guitar ensemble trials but I did'nt get in...boohoohoo...but nvm,who cares abt guitar!!Lol..I also signed up for the following trials:
1)Chinese drama
2)Band symphonic
3)Choir
4)Handbells ensemble
5)Girl guides

I attended Girl guides today so..will get the results tmr..but results are'nt confirmed be'cos there are two trials.And,yeah.They are all performing arts and UG.I have cousins in Band,(pri. and sec. sch),GG, and choir(cousin's gf..to be exact..)Found out that alot of the Fairfield Methodist seniors are in the same class.Lucky them!They are all also in the same CCAs.And Kimberly(my mentor)grew her hair.She looks pretty,but I almost could'nt recognise her.They are all in softball CCA.Today was fine,just need to buy more files and stuff.And my friends all played crazily!My friend called Pei Qi accidentally threw a handicraft behind the whiteboard..lol..so our seniors from 206 had to come help us.Turned out,they had the same experience.Oh yeah,we have angel mortal too!in class and level.sec.2 -->sec.1.sec. 1-->classmates.hahax..can't wait for GG results!!No trials tmr but I have one the day after-Band.Wish me luck!

can't wait to see 6A'08 again!!

HI everyone,

I'm gonna tell you about what happened during fairfield's sec 1 orientation...

DAY 1
First day of school...after assembly we ( sec 1's) all went to the hall. At the hall we had a short talk on the expectations of us sec 1's. After that, we went to the indoor sports hall bottom floor and played quite a few ice breakers that were extremely fun. During the ice breakers we were properly introduced to our SL's ( student leaders). They all seemed extremely nice people and were also very enthusiastic about almost everything.

After ice breakers we had recess.following that was like a few talks that were quite long and boring (no offence to the people who talked...). After talks we went to meet our form teacher(btw im in 1E'09) She's seemed quite nice and seems quite young like 28 to 31?? Had lunch after that then had another talk!!! was about National Education and Service Learning. A bit better this time laughed quite a lot. We had even more ice breakers after that and then we had debrief... During debrief the head of IT came and told my class had to buy tablet pc and it is like super ex 2500+++?? Thats sort of the end of day one now on to day two...............

DAY 2
Started with some ice breakers and then went to hall to learn SCHOOL SONG HYMN AND CHEER. I was like gosh school song and school hymn primary 1 learn already now learn again...
After that it was games to win flag making materials...
It was a bit dirty and wet games. I'll only talk about the game i felt was the most fun. It was like this big styrofoam box with like millions of holes in it and the some of use were supposed to put our fingers in the holes while a few other people got water and tried to fill the styrofoam box without it leaking. The team with the most water wins. And we won yay cheers bla bla...
after that went for lunch then we went to the hall to bid for flag making materials. My class had the most points so we could obviously bid for stuff with more ease. yeah that was the system we used the points we got from the games as money to bid for materials. My class got glitter and paper clips lol
after that we went to the bridge to design our flag and create a class cheer. Our flag was very nice and our cheer was quite original i think... following that was learning of the installation song. and then had debrief again.

and again thats the end of day two on to day three

DAY THREE
More ice breakers lol...and then it was practising for class cheer wooh!!! had recess and had team building games after which. Went to the hall upon finishing games and learnt mass dance the song was soulja boy lol... We had more practice for class cheer and then we had the competition. The teachers said the results would be on friday. Had debrief again and then everyone was getting more and more emo as this was like almost the official last day with our SL's and orientation.

The next two days were lessons and cca tryouts

Friday 9th January 2009
It was lessons and after school was Uniformed Groups showcase.
The big night!!!
we had dinner while the SL's were doing sharings and reflections for orientation it was very emotional and sad as our SL's said a lot of encouraging things... at like 8pm all the sec 1's assembled in the hall with the parents as well. There were a few performances like the choir and band and then they gave out awards the important awards were the class cheer award and best class award. The class cheer award was given to 1g and 1h. But 1E got the best class award wooh yay!!! We were over the moon.
We sang the installation song and the school gave the new school badge to every sec 1. We said goodbye and that was the end of orientation...

Thats all for now that was long i think dont mind my amazing number of times I used the word after...

hey guys!!

the first day of school in NYGH was okay for me.. so sad im not in the same class as the other fmps girls.. :( so i went to my class without knowing ANYONE. our form teacher, Ms Foo, was very fun-loving and friendly, and she made us laugh many times :D

during recess, i met up with wanhui, chloe and xinyi (yes, xinyi is in NYGH fyi) . didnt eat anything..

during lunch, i went to sit with wanhui, chloe and xinyi again. wanhui and i wanted to buy japanese food at first, but we found out the stall had no more food left, so we went to the chicken rice stall that xinyi was queuing at. btw, thanks xinyi for letting me cut queue!! ahhh ~ dont scold me for being bad ~

day 2

today is SUPER fun and i think tomorrow will be even better. we had sports CCA selection for today, performing arts will be tomorrow (i think).. the FUN-EST activity we did was jumping on the trampoline! well, its not the small type of trampoline.. it was like.. HUGE!! it was SO FUN!! at first, the senior held me and we both jumped together. i couldnt balance very well. for my second try, i was supposed to do it by myself. i did MUCH better! maybe its because the senior and i were jumping at different times in the first try, so it feels kinda weird..

went for volleyball, netball, shooting, soft ball, wushu... too many.. cant remember..

the last CCA selection for us.. track and field!! when we were supposed to run 1 & 3/4 rounds on the HUGE track, it started raining after we ran finish 1 round. so "HENG"!! so we went to the shelter. the school was so nice, they gave us a bottle of H-TWO-O each! :D i almost drank finish the whole bottle cus i was super thirsty & tired..

went back to class, changed into uniform.. wait.. did i talk about the angel&mortal game? lol. this game is played among the sec1s and 2s. the sec2 seniors are our angels! btw we have no mortals. everyone in my class received a letter from their angels in the morning. they are all so friendly & fun (hyper too? lol)! my angel gave me a sweet letter + a marshmallow sweet! she was so sweet!

ahh.. all my energy drained already.. need to rest.. tomorrow have audition for chinese dance! must get in! wish me best of luck!!~

(edit: it wasnt audition for chinese dance. it was signing up for auditions for CCAs. tmr is the audition for chinese dance. so nervous!! -7/1)
