Secondary school posting

Hi everyone!! I should think that all of you have gotten your posting results.Me too!!Did many of you worry about getting into the school of your choice?Then,hope you got into the school that you wanted!!So yeah..I got into Raffles.A little bit scared because my mum knows many ppl whose daughters are in RGS and they all said that the teachers don't teach much and when they ask you to do HW, sometimes they don't collect and you have to go find the right answer on your own.So it involves alot of independence and self-discipline..which is quite tough..Also,some of those parents who have children in RGS told my mother not to be surprised if I fail alot of my subjects in my first few years.Plus(wow,alot huh?) they have alot of projects to do..and the projects are not grp work..they are done on your own..and they are very time consuming.Since CCA is a must in sec. school, you have to manage your time very well in order to be able to cope.Anyway, now everybody does'nt have to worry so much already!!Looking forward to the BBQ outing.Merry Christmas and a happy new year!!-Lycia
